Jelena Marasevic selected to participate in the Heidelberg Laureate Forum
WiMNet Ph.D. student Jelena Marasevic was selected to participate in the 3rd Heidelberg Laureate Forum. Jelena is among 200 young researchers selected from more than 1400 applicants from over 50 countries. In 2014, the US delegation of top students and postdoctoral researchers included only 20 participants, who were supported by the NSF and ORAU.
The Heidelberg Laureate Forum brings together winners of the most prestigious awards in mathematics — Fields medal and Abel prize, and computer science — Nevanlinna prize and Turing award, to meet new generations of exceptional young researchers. The forum will take place Aug. 23-28, in Heidelberg, Germany.
