Leoni Lu Receives the NSC Women in Spectrum Scholarship Award

The National Spectrum Consortium  awarded its inaugural Women in Spectrum Scholarship to four engineering students at the 2022 IEEE Military Communications Conference (MILCOM).

Leoni Lu, a BS/MS student who has been conducting research in the WiMNet lab was selected as one of the awardees. Her research focused on full duplex wireless  and on millimeter-wave sensing. She will be joining Qualcomm as a firmware engineer in 2023.

The fellowship promotes the academic accomplishments of female students studying engineering degrees at U.S. ABET-accredited universities. In the video below, NSC ExCom Member Dr. Sheryl Genco, Vice President at Ericsson chats with Leoni, about her interest in wireless communications and research.
