Dr. Jhonatan Tavori received the ‘Sea Award’ for his presentation at the 2026 Information Theory and Applications (ITA) workshop
WiMNet Lab postdoc Dr. Jhonatan Tavori received the ‘Sea Award’ for his presentation at the 2026 Information Theory and Applications (ITA) workshop in San Diego. Jhonatan’s talk was part of ITA’s Graduation Day, in which graduating PhD students and postdocs present an overview of their research. At the end of the workshop the Sun, Sea and Sand Awards were given to the best talks. Jhonatan presented cloud management under worst-case attacks, including the paper “Worst-Case Attacks in Reactive Edge-CloudSystems: Expected Latency and SLA Violation”, which is based on his work at the WiMNet lab and that was recently accepted to IEEE INFOCOM’26.”
