A paper by Dr. Saleh Soltan, a former WiMNet Ph.D. student, that focuses on the vulnerabilities of the power grid to attacks leveraging Internet of Things (IoT) devices was published in USENIX Security’18.
The paper was featured in numerous media outlets including Wired, CNET, Financial Times, Ars Technica, and the Security Ledger.
During his studies toward the Ph.D. Saleh was a major contributor to WiMNet lab’s research on power grid resilience.
