Maria Gorlatova awarded a Ph.D.
Maria Gorlatova received her Ph.D. after successfully defending her thesis titled “Energy Harvesting Networked Nodes: Measurements, Algorithms, and Prototyping”.
While studying towards the Ph.D., Maria received the Columbia Presidential Fellowship, the Canadian Graduate Scholar (CGS) NSERC Fellowship, the Google Anita Borg Fellowship, the Columbia Electrical Engineering Department Jury Award, the ACM MobiSys’11 Ph.D. Forum Best Presentation Award, the ACM SenSys’11 Best Student Demo Award, and the 2011 IEEE Award for Advances in Communications.
